FAITHFUL TO THE FINISH: Charlie Kirk’s Voice Still Speaks

Living Stones Series: First Published in All Around Old Bridge Publication – October 2025, Pastor Lloyd Pulley

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has shaken many hearts. Agree or disagree with him, no one should be killed for speaking their convictions. Yet, branded with tired slurs – “extremist,” “hateful,” “racist” (labels that didn’t fit him) – his death sparked vile celebrations online. Charlie’s offense? Speaking biblical morality and inviting honest debate: “Prove me wrong.” When discourse collapses into hatred, families bury fathers and husbands.

In the book of Acts in the Bible, we are reminded that persecution scattered the early church and the gospel spread throughout the world. Charlie lived boldly for Jesus, speaking truth with courage and grace. He did not sugarcoat the truth, and yet his kindness under fire was exemplary.

Church history shows that the blood of martyrs often becomes seed for revival. I believe many will rise to speak biblical truth with clarity and compassion because Charlie would not shrink back.

Today, he is with the Savior he loved – faithful to the finish. What better way to end one’s race than proclaiming Christ’s love to a broken world? I challenge those who know Jesus, whom Charlie proclaimed, to respond to this horrific, cowardly act not with vengeance or fear, but by following Jesus more closely, forgiving more freely, and praying more fervently for the world to know the good news. I challenge those who don’t know much about Charlie Kirk to go to tpusa.org and see and take another look at the Jesus of the Bible.

May this heartbreaking loss remind our nation that lasting hope is found only in Christ, the Prince of Peace. And please don’t turn to violence; Let’s talk! And if we disagree, let’s respect each other’s right to do so.
