THE RESULTS ARE IN!

The evidence is undeniable. The Center for Bible Engagement surveyed over 400,000 people worldwide to measure the impact of Bible reading on life and behavior. Their findings? Those who engage with Scripture four or more times a week experience dramatically fewer struggles with anger, selfishness, loneliness, and discouragement.
I recall one man in our church who, after eight years of putting it off, finally read through the Bible in a year. He told me his wife barely recognized him—the anger was gone, frustration replaced by peace. The Word of God had transformed him from the inside out!
And it’s not just spiritual talk. Neuroscientist Andrew Newberg, listed among the “30 Most Influential Scientists Alive,” conducted groundbreaking research at Thomas Jefferson University on how prayer changes the brain. His studies—celebrated in medical journals and secular media alike—show that prayer actually builds new neural pathways associated with compassion and social awareness. It reduces anger and stress hormones, lowers anxiety and depression, and even reshapes brain chemistry toward peace and joy and measurable by actual brain scans!
Let’s face it—America has endured a long winter of secularism, where schools and media scrubbed Scripture from public life. The result? A culture drowning in anxiety, entitlement, and moral confusion. Gratitude itself has been gutted of meaning when divorced from the One who deserves it.
As we approach Thanksgiving, remember: thankfulness without God is hollow. But turning our hearts again to His Word and to prayer brings transformation—in our minds, our families, and our nation. The time to return is now, before the final storm of unbelief sweeps through.
